Voting guide
How to Vote in Bigg Boss Telugu
You vote for Bigg Boss Telugu contestants inside the JioHotstar app — one vote per account per day. The steps, the weekly window, missed-call numbers and the traps to avoid.
You vote for Bigg Boss Telugu on the show’s own platform, not on fan sites like this one. The show airs on Star Maa and streams on JioHotstar, where the in-app vote runs: one vote per account per day, while the week’s window is open.
Which platform do you vote on?
JioHotstar. Star Maa is the channel that airs Bigg Boss Telugu on television, and JioHotstar is the streaming service that carries the show and the in-app vote. There’s no separate “voting app” to install.
How the in-app vote works
Open the JioHotstar app, search for Bigg Boss Telugu and play any of the latest episodes. While a voting window is open, a Vote button appears below the playing video. Tap it, and the week’s nominated contestants come up with their photos and names — pick the one you want to keep in the house, then confirm with Done. The exact layout can shift between seasons, so follow whatever the live voting screen shows rather than a fixed set of taps. Before or after the official vote, you can also join this week’s Bigg Boss Telugu 10 voting poll and results on our homepage; that poll is an unofficial fan poll and counts for nothing in the show.
How many votes do you get?
One vote per account per day in the JioHotstar app — cast today’s vote, come back tomorrow for the next one while the window is open. The live voting screen states the cap, so that’s the place to double-check. When a fan army organised bulk accounts in an early season, one account, one vote was the show’s whole defence, and the season the vote came under suspicion covers how that played out.
Is Bigg Boss Telugu voting free?
Yes. You don’t need a paid JioHotstar plan to vote: signing in with a free account is enough for the daily vote, and the only thing it costs you is your regular mobile data. Anyone charging money for Bigg Boss votes is running a scam, not the show’s vote.
What happened to Google voting?
Older guides still tell you to search Google and vote right in the results. It was real once: in the show’s early seasons a Google search vote ran alongside the broadcast. It was retired when voting moved into the streaming app, and no recent season has used it, so treat any “vote on Google” instruction as a leftover from an old article.
The Fan Zone is not the vote
While a season runs, the show’s page in JioHotstar also carries a Fan Zone — daily questions and polls for superfans, with its own perks for the most active players. Fan Zone answers are engagement, and playing it doesn’t save your favourite. The only vote that counts against an elimination is the one cast in the voting section while a window is open.
What about “missed call” voting?
It’s real, and it’s official. The show announces contestant-wise missed-call numbers that run alongside the app vote — give a missed call to your nominee’s number and it counts. Two cautions all the same. Numbers are announced fresh each time, so a Season 9 number does nothing for Season 10. And fake number lists do the rounds every single year, so dial only what the show itself has put out and skip anything you can’t trace back to it. Season 10’s numbers — one per housemate, the same all season — are in the missed call numbers table on the homepage.
When is voting open?
The Bigg Boss Telugu 10 voting window follows the week. Nominations air on Monday and voting opens that night once the episode ends, runs through the week, and closes around midnight on Friday — before the weekend episodes where Nagarjuna announces the saves and the eviction. Star Maa trails the whole week in its daily promos, which tease the fight and hold back the result; the episode is what settles it. The show sets the exact open and close times each week, and a window can be extended, cut short or skipped depending on that week’s twists. We won’t post a precise voting date or a countdown until it’s officially confirmed. Who went up in each of those windows, back to 2017, is in every past season’s nominations, week by week.
Agnipariksha runs a separate vote
Everything above is the main-season vote, the weekly one that decides who leaves the house. Agnipariksha, the pre-show that picks the commoner contestants, runs its own audience vote on its own shortlist, and that vote has been open since the pre-show went on air on 15 August 2026. The pre-show and its vote are covered on the Bigg Boss Agnipariksha voting page. That pre-show is also the only documented way in for a viewer, which is a question of its own: how can I participate in Bigg Boss Telugu.
Don’t mix up the vote with a fan poll
The vote that decides who stays is the one the show runs. The poll we host here is an unofficial opinion poll, a read on which way fans are leaning, and it has no effect on the result. We lay out the difference on official voting vs our fan poll. To take part for real, use the official JioHotstar app when voting is open.
For questions about the show rather than the vote, like whether it’s scripted, whose voice that is and how to watch from abroad, the questions page answers those one at a time, with sources.
