Pallavi Prashanth, a farmer with no screen career, won Bigg Boss Telugu 7 — the Ulta Pulta season. He outlasted 18 contestants over 105 days on Star Maa, with Nagarjuna Akkineni hosting a fifth year running. How Bigg Boss Telugu 7 voting, nominations and evictions worked

The season took the vote itself down to one per person and made the house earn the word "housemate". What ran for 105 days after that was a weekly nomination round, a public vote, and a set of passes and powers that could cancel either one.

One vote per account, one per phone number

The biggest change this season was to the vote itself. Earlier seasons let a viewer cast ten votes from a Disney+ Hotstar account and ten more by missed call from one number. Season 7 cut both to one each — one vote per account per day, one missed call per number — which Nagarjuna announced on launch night. Contestants, not housemates: the Power Astra

Nobody who walked in on launch night was a housemate. Bigg Boss called them contestants, and for the first four weeks they competed for the Power Astra — a weapon that made its winner a confirmed housemate and gave them immunity from nomination. Aata Sandeep won the first, Sivaji the second, Shobha Shetty the third and Pallavi Prashanth the fourth, and the powers stacked: a Power Astra holder could nominate someone directly, or swap a nominee for a housemate who was safe. It could be taken away again, too — one holder lost his when the house voted that he had not played a task fairly. The whole cast was only confirmed as housemates on day 35.

Nominations

Housemates nominated each other at the start of the week, and the shape of it changed almost every week rather than running one fixed process. Some weeks the Power Astra winners chose who could nominate at all; one week four housemates held the round as "queens in power" and had to agree on each name; one week a housemate who refused to nominate was nominated by Bigg Boss instead. Getting physical in a task was enough to be nominated directly, which is how Tasty Teja went up in week 5. 264 nominations came out of those 15 weeks; who nominated whom in Bigg Boss Telugu 7 lists every one.

Evictions, the pass that cancelled one, and the double

Nominees went to the public vote and the housemate with the fewest votes left at the weekend. It ran to that pattern every week but two. On day 77 there was no eviction at all: Prince Yawar surrendered the Eviction Pass and Nagarjuna cancelled the week. The following weekend made up for it with the season's only double — Ashwini Shree on the Saturday, Rathika Rose on the Sunday. Day 35: The 2.0 relaunch — five wild cards in one episode, the first two walking in with power over everyone's luggage and the next three over the beds: Ambati Arjun, Ashwini Shree, Bhole Shavali, Pooja Murthy, Nayani Pavani. One of them reached the final six.
Day 49: Rathika Rose came back. Three evicted housemates were sent in to appeal for a place, the house voted, and Bigg Boss gave the seat to the one with the fewest votes — her.

What defined Bigg Boss Telugu 7

Ulta Pulta: the launch-night offer to walk straight back out

The season's name for itself was Ulta Pulta — everything the wrong way up — and it started proving it within the hour. Nagarjuna offered the first five contestants through the door a briefcase to leave on the spot: ₹5 lakh first, then more, and finally ₹35 lakh — which is exactly what the winner ended up taking home 105 days later. Priyanka Jain, Sivaji, Damini Bhatla, Prince Yawar and Subhashree Rayaguru all turned it down, and three of the five finished in the top five.

A farmer won Bigg Boss Telugu 7

Pallavi Prashanth went in with no screen career at all — a farmer from a Telangana village who had built an audience posting about his fields, and who the house and the audience both called Rythu Bidda. He won a season whose cast included a veteran film actor, an actress of 250-plus films and half a dozen serial leads. The finale briefcase that cut the Bigg Boss Telugu 7 prize money

The briefcase came back on finale night. All six finalists were offered it inside the house and all six said no; then Ambati Arjun and Priyanka Jain were eliminated, and Prince Yawar took ₹15 lakh and walked out in fourth. It came out of the pool, so the winner's cash dropped from the advertised ₹50 lakh to a reported ₹35 lakh, alongside diamond jewellery put at ₹15 lakh and a car. Season 6 and Season 9 both ended the same way, which is why the winners list reads as an arithmetic problem rather than a league table.

Were Bigg Boss Telugu 7 vote counts published?

No. The show named each evicted housemate without ever publishing the totals, and it did not publish them at the finale either. The percentages that went round every week came from unofficial trend polls, not from the count that decided the evictions.
