How TeluguBiggBossVoting.com verifies sources, labels rumours, updates fan-poll data, corrects errors, uses AI tools and stays independent of the show.
This policy explains how TeluguBiggBossVoting researches, verifies, labels and updates what it publishes. It covers the voting guides, the fan poll and its standings, weekly nominations and eliminations, contestant profiles, the season archives and every other editorial page on the site.
We cover a show where rumour and confirmed news land at the same hour. This is how we keep them apart, so you can see where anything here came from. The site is an independent fan site, founded and edited by Rahul Bala; it is not affiliated with Bigg Boss, Star Maa, JioStar or JioHotstar, and our poll is separate from the official vote.
Our editorial commitments

How we choose and verify sources
Not every source carries the same weight. A claim on this site is backed by the strongest thing standing behind it, and we prefer the source closest to the event: an official announcement outranks reporting about it, and current Season 10 material outranks anything carried over from an earlier season.

Two pages repeating the same original report still count as one source. Search snippets, syndicated copies and aggregator pages are not independent confirmation. When credible sources genuinely disagree, we say they disagree instead of picking the version that makes the better headline.
We publish a rumour only when it clears a real bar: one strong official or first-hand source, or two outlets that got there independently. When we run one, it carries a visible rumored label, the source, and the date the claim appeared. Contestant profiles work slightly differently. A profile is a biography first, so an unconfirmed casting claim lives in its own clearly marked section on the page, with its source, the date of the claim and when we last checked it, rather than turning the whole page into a rumour.
Verified, reported and rumored
For claims that move during a season — cast, schedule, results, the week’s rumours — we label how solid each one is. There are three labels and no others:

A label changes when the evidence changes. A reported name that the show confirms becomes verified. A rumour that turns out to be wrong is not quietly deleted. The page records that the earlier claim was not confirmed, so anyone who read the old version can see what happened. We do not leave stale “rumored” wording on a page after the answer is known.
When there is no credible answer yet, we say that in plain words rather than reaching for the nearest guess. “Not announced” is a legitimate thing for a page to say, and so is “the vote has closed and the result airs on Sunday”.
How we handle live and changing information
Some things change several times a week during a season, and they do not all change on the same evidence.

A formatting tweak, a code change or an automatic rebuild does not move a page’s date. A new poll snapshot does, because the counts and the order you can see on the page have changed.
How our fan poll and standings work
The fan poll runs on a third-party polling service, which collects and stores the votes. We operate no voting system of our own and hold no vote data. The poll’s own record is the only tally there is. (Our privacy policy names the provider and explains what loading the poll means for you.)
Alongside the poll on the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 Voting page we publish a time-stamped, readable snapshot of the totals the poll itself displays. Vote counts, percentages and the order of names are copied from that record. We do not add votes, remove votes, re-sort the list, round a number or fill in an estimate. Movement figures are one preserved snapshot subtracted from another.

Star Maa and JioHotstar do not publish running vote totals. A contestant leading or trailing our poll is not safe and is not evicted. The poll says what this site’s readers think and nothing more. Authorship, human review and AI use
Rahul Bala is the founder and editor, and is responsible for the site’s editorial decisions. Every article carries a byline linking to his author page. The named author is the person who checks a page’s claims, its sources and its status labels before it goes live, and the person answerable when one of them is wrong.
AI tools assist with research, first drafts, translation between our English and Telugu pages, and quality checks. They are not a source, and they do not decide whether a claim is verified. Every editorial claim is reviewed against the cited evidence by a person before publication, and a draft that cannot be tied to a source does not get published.
A small amount of work is automated, and only for structured, mechanical tasks: copying the fan-poll standings on a schedule, and importing verified video metadata from a fixed list of official channels. Those jobs are limited to the data they are handed. They do not write descriptions, invent results or state anything about the show, and any editorial note attached to that material is written by a person.
Corrections and updates
To report an error, use the contact page and include the page address, the sentence you think is wrong, and any source you have. We check the underlying evidence before changing anything, including when the correction comes from a reader.

We would rather fix something than be first with it. If a page is materially wrong and we cannot verify the right answer quickly, we take the claim down while we check rather than leave it standing.
Images, illustrations and rights
Every image we publish has an internal record: where it came from, the date we fetched it, what it is used for, and what we know about who owns it. We do not claim ownership of photographs, logos or programme marks that belong to other people, and we do not make legal claims about reuse.
- Contestant photographs are published only to show you who a housemate is. They are cropped to card size and served from our own site, never hotlinked or embedded from someone else’s page, and we hold no rights in them. We do not use watermarked agency photographs.
- A season’s logo belongs to the broadcaster. It appears only to identify the season a page is about, never as our own branding, and its presence implies no connection to the show, Star Maa or JioHotstar.
- Illustrations. A few portraits on the site are illustrations rather than photographs. Where that is the case, the image’s alt text says so. An illustration is never presented as a real photograph of a person or an event.
If you are pictured here, or you own an image or mark used on this site, and you want it removed, credited differently or replaced, tell us. We take images down within 24 hours of a request, and act promptly on any other rights concern. You do not have to explain why.
Advertising and editorial independence
Advertising helps pay for running the site. It buys nothing else. Advertisers do not choose what we cover, pick contestants, set the poll’s options, touch its totals, or have any say in how a nomination, an elimination or a rumour is reported. Nobody sees a page before it is published because they paid for space on it.
Ads are kept visually separate from the fan poll and from the official voting links, and an advertisement is never dressed up as the button for casting a real vote. If we ever publish paid or sponsored material, it will carry a visible “Sponsored” label and it still will not influence the poll standings or any status label on the site. Comments and reader contributions
Comments are written by readers and are their opinions, not ours. They appear as soon as they are posted; we read and moderate them afterwards. A comment is never treated as a source. A name, a result or an elimination claim in the comments does not become a fact on this site until it clears the sourcing standard above.
We remove comments for abuse, impersonation, spam, posting someone’s private information, unsupported accusations about a real person, and attempts to game the discussion around the poll. Removing a comment has no effect on the poll’s vote totals, which are held by the polling service, not by us. What the comment system stores about you is set out in the privacy policy.
Independence and the official vote
TeluguBiggBossVoting is an independent fan site. We run no part of Bigg Boss Telugu, Star Maa, JioStar or JioHotstar. Where we name the show, its contestants or its broadcasters, we are describing what we cover. It implies no endorsement and no connection in either direction.
The poll hosted here measures audience opinion only. A vote that counts in the show has to be cast through the method the show itself announces, which we link on every voting page and again here: the official JioHotstar app.

It is not affiliated with, authorised by, or connected to the producers of Bigg Boss, Star Maa, JioStar, Disney+ Hotstar or any of their affiliates. All show, channel and platform names are used only to describe the subject we cover, and remain the property of their respective owners.
Any poll on this site is an unofficial audience opinion poll. It does not count towards the official vote and has no effect on who stays in or leaves the house. To cast a real, counted vote, always use the official JioHotstar app during the official voting window.
