Bigg Boss Telugu winner prize money by season

If you assume ₹50 lakh is the standard, five of the nine paid something else. Every figure is what media reported at the time of each finale; the channel does not publish a prize breakdown, so these are reported amounts rather than official ones. The last column is where most of the difference comes from, and it is why prize money figures on other winners lists often do not match these.

The cash swings from ₹55 lakh down to ₹10 lakh because of the suitcase. Late in a finale the host offers a finalist a fixed sum to step out of the race, and that money comes off the prize pool before the winner is announced. It happened in four of the nine finales. Season 6 is the extreme case: LV Revanth won the title with ₹10 lakh in cash while runner-up Shrihan left with ₹40 lakh. The Siasat Daily reported that Nagarjuna told the finale audience Shrihan had drawn more votes, which is why that season still gets described as the one the runner-up really won; no vote counts were ever published either way. Season 8 went the other way. Its prize pool started at zero and the house built it up task by task, and Nikhil Maliyakkal took the biggest cheque in the show’s history.

Bigg Boss Telugu hosts by season

Three hosts, and one of them has done nearly all of it. Jr NTR took the first season, Nani the second, and Nagarjuna Akkineni has had the chair since Season 3. He is back for Season 10, which makes it eight in a row. The premiere and timing page has the channel, the streaming platform and the schedule, and the Season 10 contestants list has the housemates competing for the next trophy.

Has any girl won Bigg Boss Telugu?

Not yet. Every winner so far has been male. Three women have come one step short, each as first runner-up: singer Geetha Madhuri in Season 2, Sreemukhi in Season 3 and Thanuja Puttaswamy in Season 9. No woman has won in nine seasons, so a list that names the first female Telugu winner is counting a different edition.

How many Bigg Boss Telugu seasons are there?

Nine seasons have been played, from 2017 to 2025, and Season 10 is next. You will still find pages promising “Bigg Boss winners from 1 to 16”; those count the Hindi edition, which has run for many more seasons than the Telugu one. Season numbers do not line up between editions, so Hindi names in a Telugu table are a fair sign nobody checked the list.

Is there a Season 10 winner yet?

Not yet. Kalyan Padala is the reigning champion. He took Season 9 at the 2025 finale, the first winner to come through the Agnipariksha commoner route, and this list gets a tenth row after the next finale.
